The standard

A building's biggest environmental cost is the energy it burns and the material it wastes over decades. We build to lower both.

It starts with the shell.

Get the envelope right and every system inside works less hard. We frame square, insulate well, and seal the joints where heat escapes, so the building holds its warmth and burns less to stay comfortable.

Efficient systems, licensed hands.

Heating, cooling, and ventilation are sized for the building and installed by HRAI, TSSA, and ESA credentialed trades. The right specialist on each system means it runs efficiently and to code, not guessed at.

Materials chosen on purpose.

A finish that lasts twenty years beats one replaced twice in ten. We favour durable, documented materials, and lower-impact ones where the project calls for it, like the low-VOC acoustic insulation and eco-conscious fabric wall materials on our Netflix office build.

Less burned, less buried.

Tight and efficient means less energy used for the life of the building. Built once and built right means less torn out and less sent to landfill. That is where the real environmental gain is, and it lasts.

These are the upgrades that recognized Ontario programs, including the Home Renovation Savings Program and the Canada Greener Homes Loan, are built around. We hold ourselves to that standard on every project. Program details are set by their administrators and change over time.

We work with licensed HVAC, gas, and electrical subcontractors (HRAI, TSSA, and ESA credentialed trades) so every system installed in our projects is performed by the right specialist.

02 Case study

Netflix office build.

The brief called for a quiet, comfortable workspace. We approached it through the materials: a low-VOC acoustic insulation for sound control without the off-gassing of conventional products, paired with eco-conscious fabric wall materials for the finished surfaces.

It is the clearest example we can point to today of material choices made deliberately, and the same thinking carries into the homes and commercial work we take on.

Common questions.

What standards do you build to?

Envelope first. We frame square, insulate well, and seal the joints where air leaks. Systems are installed by licensed trades, and we favour durable assemblies and documented materials. The aim is a building that performs and lasts, which is also what energy programs reward.

What credentials does Zeybek hold?

We are a member of BILD and CAGBC, a BBB accredited business (ID 1420062), and we carry current WSIB coverage and commercial general liability insurance. Each one is verifiable.

How do you choose subcontractors for HVAC and electrical work?

We work with licensed trades: HRAI credentialed for HVAC, TSSA licensed for gas, and ESA licensed for electrical. Each system is installed and inspected by the right specialist, which is the standard Ontario general contractor model.

Do your projects align with Ontario energy programs?

Yes. We build the upgrades these programs reward, insulation, air sealing, heat pumps, and windows, as a matter of course. Program details and funding decisions are set by each program's administrator.

Do you work outside Toronto?

Yes. We work across the Greater Toronto Area and communities across Ontario.

Are you planning to pursue additional energy certifications?

We are a CAGBC member and continue to build our energy practice. We will only list a certification once it is held.
