My brother gave us the name, because we are from İzmir. There is no clever story behind it. What we sell was never the story, only the work.
I have done the same work under three names since 2004. I would put my own family in any house we finish, and that is the only standard I know.

A zeybek is one of the old efe of the Aegean, remembered for a dance: slow, planted, every step deliberate and meant. Nobody hurries a zeybek.
We did not pick the name to sound a certain way, but it fits the work. Plant your feet, take your time, mean every move. That is how a building should go up.
It began on the tools, in other people's homes. One trade, learned on site the slow and honest way, one room at a time. Everything that carries a name today was built on what those years taught.
On the tools
From 2014 to 2019 the work went out under YMN General Contracting. The jobs got bigger, the crew grew with them, and the standard we held a wall to never moved an inch.
2014 to 2019
Zeybek has carried the work since 2019. The name came from home, my brother chose it, and the rule did not change: build it the way we would build our own.
2019 to today
Signs change, sites do not. Twenty years in, the work is the only thing we have ever sold, and the only thing worth trusting us on.
